Everything starts with thorough research, iterative experimentation and the double diamond process in mind. Research highlights what will later shape the wireframing process. I keep a clear balance between understanding user needs and coming up with solutions — with a mix of creativity and empathy.

Delving into the realm of UI design is when everything turns colourful. This is the part where magic happens. With accessibility still in mind from the previous step, I make sure I relay on branding, imaginery and colour in order to create an enjoyable and intuitive environment for the user.

Subsequently, I bring everything to life by prototyping and simulating user interactions and workflows.

If prototyping brought things to life and it’s all nice and shiny thanks to the magic of UI design, this is where things become more real. I start building the website by following the Figma designs I put together. I use Webflow to build most websites, but I am also familiar with Elementor. Both provide great development buddies, but I gotta give this one to Webflow.
